March 8: Reigning Order of Merit champion David Lipsky found no solace in the proverbial ‘moving day’ at the WGC-Cadillac Championship when he shot a four-over-par 76 on Saturday.
The American turned in a disappointing 40 but showed glimpse of his battling spirit when carded four birdies against as many bogeys for a three-day total of seven-over-par 223 to share 57th place in the tournament where J.B. Holmes leads.
Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand also shot a 76 for 69th position while Anirban Lahiri, the current Asian Tour number one, carded his best round of 74 in the tournament to sit in 70th position in the elite 74-man field.
