Okinawa, Japan, November 5: South African Shaun Norris soared on the wings of an eagle on the 18th hole for two days in-a-row to claim his third victory on the Japan Golf Tour by one shot at the weather-shortened Heiwa PGM Championship on Sunday.

Norris, who welcomed his first child recently, held a two-shot advantage into the third and final round where he would return with a flawless card highlighted by one birdie and an eagle for a closing three-under-par 69 and a winning total of 14-under-par 202 at the PGM Golf Resort Okinawa.

Japan's Daisuke Kataoka, a one-time winner on the Asian Tour, settled for second place after posting a second straight 67 while Min-gyu Cho of Korea took third place on 204 at the ¥ 200,000,000 (approx. US$1.76 million) event, which was reduced to 54 holes due to inclement weather.

Norris, a two-time Asian Tour winner, would move to second place on the Japan Golf Tour's Merit rankings following his victory.
