Masahiro Kawamura (Jpn) – Final Round 67 (-4), Total 275 (-9)
I started off two shots back and I struggled on the first nine but I bounced back really well on the back nine and I guess this win is the result of that. This win is really big. Obviously it is the biggest thing to happen in my career. Now I get to play in Japan and on the Asian Tour as well. I’m sure it will brighten my future and help me improve in the future.
Yes, I will definitely consider taking up an Asian Tour membership. I think it is a good Tour and I will get more experience by playing around Asia.
I injured my left thumb earlier in the year and I really struggled with that. It was frustrating so I’m glad that I bounced back from that injury and that I’m even able to win!
Park Sung-joon (Kor) – Final Round 70 (-1), Total 276 (-8)
I struggled with my tee shots at the start. I got into a lot of trouble but I made up with a couple of long putts. The 16th hole was the key moment because I three putted from there. Maybe next time I will have better luck. I’m still playing okay so that’s the positive I can take back from this week.
Y.E. Yang (Kor) – Final Round 69 (-2), Total 277 (-7)
I played good. I only missed my drive on the 11th hole and dropped three shots there. My game is in great shape at the moment and I’m happy with where it is heading. I’m going back to Korea after this and then I return to the United States. I’m happy with the week. I have no complaints. It has been a while since I last played in Japan.
Liang Wen-chong (Chn) – Final Round 68 (-3), Total 279 (-5)
I just made two mental mistakes in today’s round. I think I did well. I finished top-10 and that’s a good result for me. I’m glad with my performances in these last two weeks. I wanted to gain more confidence from this week and I did. I think it will really help me heading into the end of the season.
