Lindsay Renolds (Can) – Second Round 68 (-4), Total 134 (-10)
It is exciting to be in this position. My game feels good, I feel good. I’m not really worried or nervous. We will see what tomorrow brings. It is just another round of golf for me.
I hit a poor tee shot on the first hole but I knew I was playing well. I’m hitting it well enough this week to play good golf. I wasn’t too derailed by the opening bogey.
It is a game and something you win or lose. You can only think of it that way. Obviously there’s a lot on the line tomorrow but if I play good golf then things will work out the way it should.
I’ve been putting well but overall my game is good.

I’m pleased. Obviously this is a huge week. For me I just want to play my best and it is going well. It has happened two days in a row (started poorly) so it is actually nice I’ve played good on both nines.
I played okay on the front nine but couldn’t get it close enough or the putts weren’t dropping. I hit some good shots and rolled some putts on the back.
I hit a rescue from 220 metres and holed a 15 feet eagle putt (hole five). That was good because it pushed me further into the round. I’ll accept whatever happens tomorrow but I’m trying to get as many birdies as I can.
I’ll try and be aggressive tomorrow. On this golf course you really need to make birdies. The more I’m playing, the more I’m learning the lines off the tees.
I’m hitting a lot of good putts. I got a great putting lessons from an old Asian Tour member Ahmad Bateman last week. He gave me some alignment issues that I was having and some simple drills. It is something akin to what I’ve done in the past. It gave me a lot of thoughts on how I used to roll it. Obviously when the putter starts rolling, the fairways get wider and everything gets easier.
Miguel Tabuena (Phi) – Second Round 69 (-3), Total 136 (-8)
I started hitting some good putts in the last few holes. I lipped out about five times and got frustrated. It is easy to lose your temper here because there are so many birdie holes and if you miss it, you will lose ground.
The key on this course is to be even or one-under on the par threes and shoot as many birdies on the other holes. I feel that I haven’t done that yet. It should be a good day to do it tomorrow.

I have to be as patient as possible tomorrow. There will be players who will try and force things. I’ve been in this position before and I know I can come out on top this time.
Eagle on nine: Hit a hard hook drive, hit a good approach and chipped in from the fringe from 10 feet.
Kalle Samooja (Fin) – Second Round 67 (-5), Total 136 (-8)
I’m happy to be on the top because that’s my only goal this week. It is going to be a fun day tomorrow. I played nine on Monday and Tuesday. I was luck there because I came earlier to get ready.
There are some holes where you need to know the line when you cut the corner. Otherwise it is pretty much straight forward. If you haven’t played the course, the focus might not be there.
I played well lately. I found my game and had some good tournament but didn’t have a good finish. I’ve been trying to be patient so hopefully it pays off this week.
