Chan Kim (Usa) - Third Round 73 (+1), Total 211 (-5)
I birdied 12, 13 and 15 and that saved my round. I’m very surprised to be in the lead!  I didn’t think that five-under would be leading the tournament. I thought I would be two or three shots back. I’m definitely shocked because I thought someone would shoot a low number.
The course is definitely playing tougher with the swirling wind. It was a really interesting round. It felt like I was playing mini golf on the eighth hole. I hit my tee shot way right, then my second shot hit a tree branch. My third shot landed in the bunker and then I hit into another bunker on the other side. My ball finally reached the green in my fifth shot and I two putted for seven.
I didn’t let the bogey on 10 bother me because I played the back nine really well in the last two days. I finished it off nicely and here I’m leading the tournament.
I’m feeling a bit nervous and excited. Last year I had the lead going into the final round in a Chinese Taipei event and I would like to get some redemption there and win a tournament this week.
Marcus Both (Aus) – Third Round 76 (+4), Total 212 (-4)
It was really tough out there. The wind was swirling and I didn’t hit the ball as good as I did yesterday where I kept myself out of trouble. I didn’t have any makeable birdie putts and I scrambled around. It wasn’t pretty. This golf course will bite you sometime in the week and I was hoping it didn’t happen but it did.170514_IPO_Marcus Both (AUS) 01
It is a bit frustrating to waste a couple of shots in the last few holes but I’m not the only one making a couple of bogeys coming in. It will be nice to be leading but at the end of the day my round wasn’t terrible. I just got to work a bit on my game at the driving range.
I don’t feel like I played terribly. This course can really do it to you. It is a common thing and everyone will say the same thing. When you are watching, this golf course does not look that difficult. Hopefully this is my bad round for the week.
Wang Jeung-hun (Kor) – Third Round 72 (even par), Total 212 (-4)
My short game and putting were great. I was hitting my iron shots left and right so that was a bit disappointing. I like this course. It isn’t playing that long and I like the greens. I find it easy to read the lines on the greens.
I don’t know why but I like playing in the Philippines. I used to live in the Philippines for five years to play golf. I played at the Riviera Golf and Country Club which is about an hour away from here. I used to train my golf there with my father.
I practised in the Philippines because it is too expensive to play golf in Korea and we wanted to escape from the winter in my country.
I’m feeling a bit nervous but I will try my best to win.
Siddikur Rahman (Ban) – Third Round 76 (+4), Total 215 (-1)
I was a bit unlucky and had two double bogeys. My ball was plugged in the bunker on the 13th hole and my tee shot on number 18 hit a tree and landed in the bush so I had to take a penalty drop. I was just unlucky today.
Look at the scores, I’m still in a good position with one more day to go. Anything can happen tomorrow. Hopefully I can get my best round on the last round.
