Rahil Gangjee (Ind) – Third Round 71 (-1), Total 205 (-11)
I wasn’t tensed because that’s what most people are thinking. I didn’t hit the shots and that’s what I didn’t like about the entire day. Overall, I hang in there today so tomorrow will be a lot better.
I got a bit unlucky for three or four times. Once you are not on the fairways, you can’t attack the greens. I had a few tricky putts and I hit a bunch of great putts but had tricky lines. I got a downhill eagle putt (18th hole) but the grass was left to right. It turns out to be a slow and curling putt. I figured I won’t hit it so hard and it didn’t work out.
Another tricky putt which I had was on 11. My caddie and I both read it wrongly and the ball went way left on me. We accepted it and carried on. It is all about keeping your nerves tomorrow.

It was a bonus to birdie the ninth hole. I’m playing good but I need a few more good putts. I had some bad putts but I had fun playing in the final group. I really enjoyed my round.
If someone said there is no pressure considering the position I’m in, well that would be a lie! I played good shots but couldn’t make it. It was a good experience for me today and I played so well in the last few holes. That will give me the confidence heading in the last round. Hopefully I can do the same thing and fly the Sri Lankan flag high.
Wade Ormsby (Aus) – Third Round 70 (-2), Total 206 (-10)
I’m not making putts and I was just trying to hang in there. It was nice to birdie the last. I made a bit of mistake on 15 and gave myself a scare. I’m still close enough to give myself a go. I want to tune this putting to be honest. I feel good and I’m hitting a lot of good shots. I’m playing pretty feel but I want to get the putter going. I feel like I can get away from them but it is hard when the putter is cold.
Siddikur Rahman (Ban) – Third Round 69 (-3), Total 206 (-10)
I had another good round. Overall I’m happy with my round. All together I’m happy. There is only a bit pain in my back but I’m scared and I’m trying to take care of myself. I’m very happy with my scores so far. I don’t have any target this week. I’m just focussed on my game.
I think that’s the reason why I’m playing good. Compared to other tournaments, I would get angry when I hit a bad shot but this week is different. I just want to be healthy and see where it leads me.

I made some tough 10-feet birdie conversions on the fifth, eighth and 13th. I made some top-class chip-putts for par on the 15th, 16th and 17th and finally landed my third shot really close on the 18th to end the day with a birdie.
I didn’t have a good first round and therefore I was determined to make a comeback. After my first round of 73 my caddie told me to aim for 19 birdies in the next three rounds if I wanted to win. I made seven birdies and in round two and followed that with six today, so I guess now I need another six in the final round.
I’ll treat the final round like just another round at a tournament and not get overawed by the situation. Incidentally, I have won a tournament at DGC as a junior and will have that at the back of my mind when I go out in the final round.
It was a tough decision to turn pro so early in my life. I took the decision after consulting my father soon after I won the All India Championship in January 2013. I learnt a lot about pro golf in first season in 2013 even though I didn’t have great results. I learnt the importance of not dropping too many shots.
The 10 tournaments that I have played on the Asian Development Tour this year have really helped me grow as a professional. I’ve had two top-10s on the ADT and the tour has given me a taste of life on the Asian Tour.
