Kuala Lumpur, February 3: Angelo Que of the Philippines admitted that his game was feeling a bit “rusty” ahead of the season-opening Maybank Malaysian Open which tees off on Thursday. This is his blog from the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club.

I’m feeling a little bit rusty coming into the week. I wasn’t able to play any tournaments during the break. I was supposed to play some events on the local circuit but the kids were sick so I opted not to play.
“I’ve been practising a bit at home so hopefully that’s enough! Hopefully I will get everything sorted out before the start of the tournament as there’re still two more days before the first round on Thursday.
I am happy with the way I am hitting the ball. Hitting my irons good and putting is almost there. I need to continue to do the same good stuff that helped me to my good year in 2014.
It is nice to come back here for the Maybank Malaysian Open. I always like this course and I enjoy playing in Malaysia. I’ve done well here and I feel comfortable.
Last year was obviously my best career season. I finished sixth on the Order of Merit and I have always wanted to finish inside the top-10 of the rankings. This season, I want to try and win my fourth Asian Tour title as it’s been a while since I last won..
I rested during the season break because after the Dubai Open, I was sick and my body was in pain. I rested during the break and there wasn’t enough time for me and my family to go on a vacation. I just rested and now I’m ready to go now.
Ends.
