Manila, August 3: The prestigious Resorts World Manila Masters is expected to raise the bar once again when it returns for its fourth edition as the richest golf tournament in the Philippines.
Boasting a prize pot of US$1 million, the full-field Asian Tour event will feature home-grown talents as well as the best players from across the region at Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club from November 10 to 13.
Last year, Thai rookie Natipong Srithong landed his maiden Asian Tour victory after securing a thrilling one-shot win over South African Jbe Kruger at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Masters course at Manila Southwoods. Victory was achieved in what was only his fourth start as a professional golfer on the region’s premier Tour.
