Sentosa, Singapore January 22: World number seven Adam Scott is the man to catch after he returned in the morning to complete his remaining five holes with four pars and a birdie for a third round two-under-par 69 at the SMBC Singpore Open on Sunday.
The three-time Singapore Open winner is gunning for a record fourth title this week and remains on course to do so as he leads the chasing pack with his three-day total of nine-under-par 204 at the season opener event on the Asian Tour.
Philippines' Angelo Que closed with an eagle-three on 18 to soar to a share of second place together with Korean-American Seungsu Han and the Thai pair of Phachara Khongwatmai and Tirawat Kaewsiribandit, who had earlier taken the clubhouse lead after play was suspended due to fading light on Saturday.
Juvic Pagunsan, who lost in the play-off at the iconic Singapore showpiece in 2011, could erase that memory after he posted  69 to stay just two shots back of Scott in a share of sixth place with Japan's Hideto Tanihara and Satoshi Kodaira.
Defending champion Younghan Song of Korea also remained in the hunt as he signed for a 70 to share ninth place with compatriot Sanghyun Park and South Africa's Jbe Kruger, a one-time Asian Tour winner.
Ends.
