August 20: Baek Seuk-hyun’s acting skills were put to the test when he made a short theater debut as Sherlock Holmes for the Asian Tour Golf Show!
The Korean rising star, currently ranked sixth on the Order of Merit, starred as the fictional detective in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Hound of the Baskervilles, which was directed by Susan Penrice Tyrie.
Baek, who wore the cloak of Holmes during the play, was nervous but delighted with the experience.
“I really enjoyed this. This is my first time reading and acting in a theater. It was fun. Four years ago my friend forced me to a theater and it was fun. Since then, I will find time to watch plays during my free time,” smiled Baek.
The Thai-based Korean is one of the most exciting talents on the Asian Tour. He will continue his hunt for a first Asian Tour victory at the Omega European Masters in Switzerland next month after a solid first half of the season where he posted three top-five finishes.
