Hung, who is searching for his first Asian Tour victory, returned to finish eight holes to tie at the top on 11-under-par 133 at the Pondok Indah Golf Course.
Janne Kaske of Finland, Khalin Joshi of India, Adam Groom of Australia, Pannakorn Uthaipas of Thailand and Lionel Weber of France, who shot a sparkling 62, are a further shot back in tied second place at the US$300,000 Asian Tour event.

Thai trio Jazz Janewattananond, Chinnarat Phadungsil and Tirawat Kaewsiribandit and Gaganjeet Bhullar, who won the BANK BRI-JCB Indonesia Open in 2013, ended the day in a share of eighth place on 136s.
Hung, who finished tied seventh in Philippines last week, was feeling under the weather but he produced two birdies on holes 12 and 15 after returning to resume the halfway stage at 6.15am.
“I don’t feel well. I think I’m going to get sick. I got a sore throat from yesterday so I need to go to the pharmacy and take some medication. Hopefully I can finish the round on a high today,” said Hung.
“Now I’m going to clean my bad, my shoes and take a shower. After eating, I’ll take a nap. I’ll definitely take a nap because that’s the most important thing for me!” he added.
The cut mark was set at one-under-par 143 with a total of 70 players qualifying for the weekend rounds.
