It was a very good day. The weather was lovely and it was as windy as yesterday. To be honest, it was an easy day but I didn’t take advantage of it. It was a long day for me and it was a real rollercoaster ride because I shot five birdies, five bogeys and eight pars!
I had a good chance to have a good score but I made many silly mistakes even after finding the centre of the fairway.
I’m hitting the ball very good this week and my game has come back. I’m happy that I’m hitting the shots that I want. My swing is also in good shape so let’s see where the weekend takes me.
I need to stop making silly mistakes! I made a few up-and-downs but if I didn’t make those silly mistakes, I think I would be way up on the leaderboard.
I’m not thinking about the CIMB Classic or WGC-HSBC Champions. I just want to concentrate on getting back to my best form. I’m very close to achieving that. It will be exceptional if I can qualify for those two big events but right now I just want to improve my game. If I play well, then the results will come.
