Angelo Que (Phi) – Third Round 69 (-2), Total 204 (-9)
Hopefully I can finish this off in the final round. It is going to be a challenging round. It has been windy for the whole week but I’ve been playing solid. I want to keep my game up and finally close the deal after four years!
We’ve played together (with Miguel Tabuena) on so many occasions. I just want to have fun out there with him again. Miguel never gives up. He just keeps on coming. He is young and reminds me of myself when I was young!
The wind is going to blow strongly again tomorrow. It is going to be tough so I look forward to it.

I’m very happy with my result. My goal was to get into position for the final round and I’m there. It was one of the toughest conditions I’ve ever played on this golf course. You really have to hit the right shots and find the right areas to place your ball.
I’ve been waiting for the moment to win my first Asian Tour title since I turned professional. Hopefully it happens.
I look up to Angelo Que. He is a good friend and very supportive on and off the course. He is a down to earth guy and hopefully I can be as successful as him in the future.
His drives go past my drives by a mile. You have to play against the golf course and not worry about your opponents too much.

It was very windy but my putter was so good. I think I was a bit lucky as well and that’s why I returned with a good score. I will play my best tomorrow and hopefully a lot of people will watch me play (laughs).
The best birdie was on the sixth hole from 15 feet. This is my second year on the Asian Tour. I finished 75th on the Order of Merit last year and I had to go through Qualifying School again in 2014 where I earned my card again.
I learnt a lot when I played on the Asian Tour last year. I played very badly in 2013 because I was so nervous. This year, I feel more relaxed and I just want to play my best golf. It is nice to be playing good again in the Solaire Open because I finished fourth last year. If I can, I want to win this tournament.
The Asian Tour is a big Tour and I want to focus on doing well here. My main goal is to win one tournament and hopefully play on the US PGA Tour like Noh Seung-yul! I turned professional two years and I’m 18 this year.
Chawalit Plaphol (Tha) – Third Round 68 (-3), Total 208 (-5)
I had a good start but the wind was blowing very strongly on my back nine. I hit my tee shot into the greenside bunker on 15 and two putted for bogey. I three putted on 18 for bogey as well!
I’m in a good position and I hope to improve on my putting on Sunday. If you keep the ball on the fairway, you have a chance to go low. I will do the same like how I played today. Keep the ball in play and give myself a chance to score.
I had an eagle on the 10th hole. I hit my four iron to about 20 feet and sank that putt. It was very disappointing to drop two shots after playing so well early in the round.
