Thammanoon Sriroj (Tha) – Third Round 71 (-1), Total 213 (-3)
If you look at my score, you will know how inconsistent I was today. My head wasn’t in the right place. I made many wrong club selections and that backfired on me. It was disappointing. There were holes when I didn’t want to hit driver but I did and made bogeys. It was very disappointing. I didn’t have a game plan! I need to really plan my round tomorrow. It has been a long time since I won on the Asian Tour.
Pawin Ingkhapradit (Tha) – Third Round 71 (-1), Total 214 (-2)
I was very lucky because I had three birdies on the last four holes. It was all about 20 feet. I enjoyed that. I’m feeling confident. I felt frustrated when I bogeyed 11 and 12 but my caddy told me to calm down and relax. That’s when I slowly got back into the game. I need to be very relaxed on the last day which I know won’t be easy to do. I think I still have chance to win. I turn 22 on July 16. I haven’t won any professional titles yet. I turned professional when I was 18 years old.
Miguel Tabuena (Phi) – Third Round 72 (Even), Total 217 (+1)
I hit my goal because it is really hard to get birdie putts. I’m still good and I feel that I still have a chance on Sunday. I feel that I can still make a charge tomorrow. I’m not in the championship flight so I don’t have to worry because the pressure is not on me. I missed some makeable putts on number eight from about 16 feet and number 12 (17 feet uphill).
Sam CYR (USA) – Third Round 69 (-3), Total 215 (-1)
I felt very good about my game today. I played solid and I hit a lot of greens. I had an eagle on the 13th hole which definitely helped in my score today. I birdied that hole before so it kind of got me some momentum. I’ll just try my best tomorrow. The golf course will penalises you a lot if you don’t pay attention to your putts. I’m just going to go out, try to hit as many greens and fairways as possible and try to shoot the best score I can tomorrow.
I think the key to play well here is to place yourself in good position. You don’t have to necessarily hit it perfectly at every hole but you have to hit solid shots and you have to leave yourself in good spots. If you don’t miss the greens, you have to be able to give yourself some chances for ups and downs because the greens are pretty severe and slow. I guess that would be the key to play well here.
Lin Wen Tang (Tpe) – Third Round 70 (-2), Total 212 (-4)
I had a good round today except for the last three holes where I missed the greens. The rough edges on the greens are really difficult but I managed to make some good putts though. It was a difficult chip on the 17th. The greens are in good condition but the course is really difficult. Overall, I’m very happy with my scores today. I don’t know if I can still win tomorrow because it has been long since I last won. I just want to enjoy the tournament. I will try and relax tomorrow! I’m excited about my round tomorrow. The course is difficult and the first hole is very important. I’m try and keep to my own tempo. There are a lot of good players here and I will need a lot of luck to win the tournament tomorrow. I’m happy with the birdies I made today. I hope I can win tomorrow! I have not gone to the gym for quite some time but I’m feeling better now. Everything’s good!
