June 1: Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand charged into contention at the Nordea Masters after shooting a third round four-under-par 68 to trail the leaders by four shots on Saturday.
The three-time Asian Tour number one opened with a birdie but stumbled when he posted a double bogey, bogey and bogey on the third, fourth and fifth holes.
He showed true character when he bounced back from those blemishes with seven birdies in his closing 12 holes which included two last gasp birdies on 17 and 18 for a nine-under-par 207 total.
Thongchai trails Henrik Stenson of Sweden and Eddie Pepperell of England by four shots heading into the final round.
Meanwhile at the Memorial Tournament in the United States, Kiradech Aphibarnrat of Thailand fired a two-under-par 70 to lie in tied 47th position in the tournament where two-time Masters Tournament winner Bubba Watson leads.
