October 28: Thai star Thongchai Jaidee produced a sensational six-under-par 66 to finish second at the BMW Masters in China on Sunday.
The three-time Asian Tour Order of Merit leader dropped only one shot in a round of seven birdies for a 10-under-par 278 total, one shot from the winner Fdez-Castano Gonzalo at the Lake Malaren Golf Club.
Thongchai’s finish propelled him into the top-50 on the Official World Golf Rankings while countryman Kiradech Aphibarnrat, who finished third at the CIMB Classic, moved to 66th place in the world.
