August 25: Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand carded a one-over-par 73 to slip to tied 29th position after the third round of the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles on Saturday.
Thongchai, a three-time Asian Tour Order of Merit winner, posted two birdies against three bogeys for eight-under-par 208, eight shots from the leaders Ricardo Gonzalez of Argentina and Tommy Fleetwood of England.
Despite slipping out of contention, Thongchai will still have much to play for as he aims to qualify for the Presidents Cup International Team.
The Thai is currently ranked 11th in the standings and will need strong results in Scotland and at the ISPS Wales Open, where he will defend his title, next week.
