August 9: Thai star Thongchai Jaidee of Thailand and Anirban Lahiri of India crashed out from the PGA Championship while Kiradech Aphibarnrat had to withdraw due to an ankle injury on Friday.
Lahiri, who currently leads the Asian Tour Order of Merit, traded three birdies against five bogeys for a second round two-over-par 73 to miss the halfway cut by two shots on a three-over-par 145 total.
Thongchai, a three-time Asian Tour number one, struggled to get his round going when he mixed his card with two birdies, four bogeys, one double and a quadruple bogey for a disappointing 79.
Meanwhile, Kiradech, the reigning Order of Merit winner, had to pull out from the second round due to an ankle injury.
