April 22: Asian Tour member Yoshinobu Tsukada of Japan recorded his first victory on home soil when he triumphed at the  Token Homemate Cup on Sunday.
The 43-year-old, who finished inside the top-40 at the Asian Tour Qualifying School earlier this year, carded a two-under-par 69 for a winning total of nine-under-par 275 at the Token Tado Country Club in Nagoya.
Tsukada traded four birdies and two bogeys on the last day to defeat compatriots Koumei Oda and Kunihiro Kamii by four shots.
He had a solid season on the Asian Tour in 2012 as he made four cuts in five appearances. His best result was tied 13th at the Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open, sanctioned by the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour. He also placed tied 17th at the Thailand Golf Championship.
