Scott Hend (Aus) – Third round 63 (-8), Total 201 (-12)
Q.  Scott, that was phenomenal?
Just an extra birdie.  Just played a little bit better today. That's all I can do.  See what happens now.
Q.  How do you feel about going into lead, being in the final group tomorrow.  How do you feel about that?
Doesn't really matter.  I've set my goals I want to achieve, if I achieve my goals and hit my targets, that's all I can ask.  If somebody else goes out and shoots 61 tomorrow, and I don't shoot a good enough round, then well done to them.  My hat's off to them.  I can only control myself and what I do and that's all I can ask of myself.
Q.  And we spoke during your round, but how did the course hold up for the rest of your round today?
The course is fine.  I over complicated a few things out there.  I over engineered a few shots and a few putts. The old adage is 'Keep It Simple, Stupid' and that's pretty much what you've got to do out there. Just fairways, greens, and read the putts.  Don't over complicate it.
Q.  And what are your hopes for tomorrow?
59.  No, I don't know, doesn't really matter.  Just go out there, and like I said, hit my targets, achieve my goals.  That's my hopes, and if it's not good enough, then that's just the way it goes.
Just keep the ball in play; you know, be patient, keep it in play.  Like I said, keep it as simple as possible.  A few holes, I over engineered a couple of putts and read a little too much into them.  Just working towards a few goals for the next couple of weeks, and like I said, I'm trying to hit some targets.
Q.  And the eagles kick started the round.
I don't know, you know, I hit a good drive and I hit a good shot in, so it wasn't really a surprise that I made eagle.  I hit it into about four or five feet anyway, so it's not so much of a surprise. Just two go shots and I holed the putt.  If you can get a short iron into that green, there's every chance you can make an eagle there.  It's just the way the golf course plays. We might come tomorrow, it might be playing into the wind and we might be hitting 4 irons into there instead of 8 irons and 7 irons.  So that's just the way this golf course plays.
Q.  Great season so far, with two wins.  When you look back at the year you've had, what's been part of the reasons which have given you such a good run?
To be honest with you, I'm just achieving some goals and hitting some targets.  I'm working hard.  Sooner or later, you have to reap the rewards of working hard, and I've worked hard for the last 18 months, and hopefully it's coming together.

Ernie Els (Rsa) ,Third round 69 (-2), Total 205 (-8)
Q.  So Ernie, well played today.  How was it for you out there?
Thank you for saying that, but I felt I was a bit off here and there.  I had quite a nice start to my round.  I was 2 under through three holes, and I didn't quite capitalise on a good start.  I made a very soft bogey on the seventh hole, which is quite a short par 4, and didn't birdie 8 or 9.  Then I found myself really behind, because I saw the leaderboard and I saw Scott really playing good.
Then I got a couple going, and then I made some mistakes again, you know, on 14 and on 16.  So, I've got to have a good round tomorrow.
How did you find the conditions today?
I thought it was brilliant.  Nice little breeze during the middle of the day and then it died down, so there's a lot of scoring opportunities out there and I thought the course was playing wonderful.
What kind of score are you hoping for tomorrow?
I've got to go low.  It seems like Scott is playing really good.  I played with him the first two rounds, and he had a tough start the first day, but since then, he's been on fire.
So, depends on weather conditions; if it really blows, it might help us chasing him.  But we'll see where it goes.
Q.  That birdie on the last must have been good?
Yeah, man, I wish I could have done that yesterday.  But yeah, that was important.  You know, I was a little scrappy.  I made a very silly bogey on 14 again, that par 3.  I haven't played it well all week.
And then I hit it to the right on 16.  I was actually lucky to make only bogey there.  So, a little scrappy.  But I'm there with a chance obviously.  Scott is playing good golf, but we need a low one.
Q.  Important to be in the final group tomorrow?
Yeah, if they play three balls, yeah, it would be great to play in the last three ball, see what the leader does firsthand.  You just hope you get off to a good start and he doesn't, and you're in the game.  Or, you've got to have a hot finish.  So there's a lot of golf left.
Q.  It's been a rough few days with your putter.  What's been the issue?
Well, I've missed some, but really it's not that bad.  I think some of them, I miss read a little bit.  On 14 today, I hit it straight and the ball really turned a lot on the grain.
People have criticised my putting for a long time, but I feel    I haven't made my fair share, but I'm not putting that badly.  I think I showed it on the last couple holes, making some clutch putts.  So, I'm looking forward to the challenge tomorrow.
Q.  Is there anything that you need to work on before tomorrow?
Yeah, I'll do the normal.  I'll do a little putting and so on.  My body feels good, touch wood, feels strong.  I feel good for the challenge tomorrow.  For some reason, I feel I've got a good chance.
The front nine will probably be important.
Yeah, I think if you get off to a solid start and get yourself in there, and then the game starts.  Then it's almost match play in a way in many ways, and we'll see where it goes.  I've got to shoot a low one, I know that, but 7 , 8 under feels good enough.

I’m not going to put pressure on myself. I’ve got the experience of playing many times in the leader group. I’m just going to play my own game and that’s probably the best for me. Last three days have been really good. My target will be to play fairways and greens, that’s my target. The course condition is very good, greens were really good.
I can’t mention about the score tomorrow, I’m just always going to keep trying to hit more greens. Yes, I’m so excited that I will play with Ernie tomorrow.
I don’t think it’s too big a lead on this golf course. If there is a birdie and bogey, it will change. I don’t think it’s a big lead. This is a placing course, so you have to stick to the plan. If I can hold the putts, then I may have a chance.
I need the putter to get hot. Today, it wasn’t good. Yesterday, it was excellent. I’m hoping it will be perfect tomorrow. Today, I just couldn’t putt although I had several birdies today. It’s just a matter a few putts.
Rahil Gangjee (Ind) – Third round 66 (-5), Total (-7)
I’ve been trying to play the back nine better and today I accomplished that. The front nine is easier and I said if I could get from 10 to 14 in par, I would be happy. I did that today. And a bogey free round today which I’ve just realized that. It’s good.
I kind of put everything together today. It was decent driving, decent iron shots and I made some putts. That was the key today. There were no bad shots.
I’m not going to be thinking about it. Try to do this again tomorrow. I’m enjoying it here this week. I’ve got my old buddy Arjun Atwal here and we’ve been hanging out.
I definitely want to hit my irons better tomorrow. That puts you in position to make putts and you can make a lot of putts here. You need to put yourself in position.
I always do look at the leaderboard as much as I always don’t want to.
Liang Wen-chong (Chn) – Third round 66 (-5), Total (-4)
I’m quite happy today. Bogey free and made five birdies. The putting was getting better. I tried hard in the first two rounds but sometime, it doesn’t happen. That’s golf. I just have to keep patient and keep practising. Just try to enjoy the game.
Tomorrow, I’ll try to attack. I’ll try my best. But this course, it’s very challenging. You can play very good but you can play very bad too. When you haven’t finish 18 holes, you never know what you’ll score.
You have to stay away from trouble, avoid losing your ball. Ifyou can keep it on the fairways, you are doing well.
I enjoy coming to Macau. It’s near my hometown. My family stayed in Macau for two years in Macau previously, so I know Macau pretty well. The fans have been great and to have The Venetian Macao supporting this tournament is great.
