CHAWALIT PLAPHOL (THA) – THIRD ROUND 68 (-4), TOTAL 201 (-15)
Overall it was okay but I made two mistakes. I two putted for double bogey (16th) after my second shot went to the left. I followed my plan in the last three days and it has been working. It was very windy early in the morning but I managed to hold on. I want to win but on this course any player can shoot a low score. It favours the long hitters. I’m lucky I had that 15 feet birdie on the last.
KIRADECH APHIBARNRAT (THA) – THIRD ROUND 71 (-1), TOTAL 202 (-14)
You must have one bad round in four days of golf. I controlled my round and was happy with a one-under. Today was quite windy so that’s why you don’t see many low scores. It is going to be an interesting final day. A lot of good players out there.
ANGELO QUE (PHI) – THIRD ROUND 66 (-6), TOTAL 203 (-13)
Every time you shoot a six-under without any bogeys is a great day. I didn’t think I would be that close to the leaderboard after seeing Kiradech on 13-under after two days. I was just trying to shoot lower scores compared to the last two days and I accomplished that. I hope I can do it again.
I’ve been playing okay and I’ve been in this situation before. I know how to handle myself. I think if I stay patient then I can do it.

RAHIL GANGJEE (IND) – THIRD ROUND 67 (-5), TOTAL 204 (-12)
I’m happy. The third days are generally dry days for me, but today seem totally different. I was hoping to feel the same as yesterday and I did, so it was good. Today was a little bit windier so I lowered my expectations. I told myself that if I could make some putts it would be good.
It has been a while since I’ve featured on the leaderboard so I’m pretty happy. I made a birdie on number 13. It was a fast and downhill 30 footer which went straight in the middle of the hole. I was lucky it went in because the ball was really travelling. I sort of carried that momentum in the next few holes.
MITHUN PERERA (SLK) – THIRD ROUND 67 (-5), TOTAL 206 (-10)
It is good compared to the last two rounds. My game is improving and it is nice to be closer to the lead. At least I have a chance on the final day. It is a good thing. It is great to be under-par for three days in the first Asian Tour event of the year.
It was tough when I started early in the morning because the wind was blowing today. It wasn’t easy when I was playing against the wind. It was a new thing playing in these conditions. I can say it was very difficult out there.
My target is to win at least one event this year. That’s my goal for the year. I believe I can achieve that because one good week can change your entire life. I’ve been playing really good so hopefully I can do well every week.
I had a good finish in the Avantha Masters and SAIL-SBI Open last year and that gave me the confidence for the rest of the season. We have some big events coming along towards the end of the season and it will be good to get off to a fast start or win early in the year.
HU MU (CHN) – THIRD ROUND 71 (-1), TOTAL 208 (-8)
It was a tough day in office. It was the same thing early on. There was a lot of wind and the course conditions were tougher at first but I hung in there well. I had a couple of bad breaks and didn’t capitalize today. I think same day as yesterday, I just didn’t hole as many putts as I wanted to. This is the first Asian Tour tournament of the year so there’s a very strong field so you expect those low scores. You really cannot give up birdie chances. If you shoot two-under then you are bound to slip back. I’m going to stick to my game plan and I’ve been doing that in the last three days.
