May 12: In this latest segment of Winning Edge, Rikard Karlberg explains some easy steps on how to hit a low shot into the wind. The Swede is a two-time Asian Tour winner and he believes that golfers must learn to play in any situation on the golf course.

To hit a low shot into the wind, you will need a balanced and relaxed setup. It is almost the same as hitting a routine golf shot but with some minor modifications.
Picture 2
During your stance, ensure that your feet are not so wide apart. At the same time, you need the proper balance so adjust accordingly.
Step 3
You need to have a softer grip when trying to hit a low ball flight. If you noticed, I also hold the club slightly lower compared to normal shots.
Step 4
During your downswing and finishing, remember to keep every down. Your chest should be facing downwards and not facing upwards as that might cause your clubface to open up and create a higher ball flight.
Hope this easy tip works for you. Don’t get blown off course!
