Worldwide TV coverage for CGC

Chiangmai, Thailand, November 13: The Chiangmai Golf Classic presented by PTT will enjoy 742 hours coverage across the Asian Tour Golf Show, highlights and live broadcast which will reach no fewer than 180 countries and 625 million homes.
The live broadcast, which begins today from 1pm to 5pm local time, will be produced in HD to deliver a high quality show for golf viewers to enjoy the best of Asian golf from anywhere around the world.
Viewers from Thailand will enjoy the live broadcast through domestic broadcaster TrueSport 4 while Supersports in South Africa will broadcast the event live throughout four rounds, with Major winner Charl Schwartzel being in the field for the first time this year.
The world feed for the live broadcast this week will begin at 1pm to 5pm Thailand time on Thursday and Friday while the broadcast will begin at 12.30pm till 4.30pm for the weekend rounds.
Asian Tour Media will subsequently produce a tournament highlights show which will be delivered to broadcasters on Monday after the Chiangmai Golf Classic presented by PTT.
This year’s tournament, which will once again offer a prize fund of US$750,000, has attracted an elite field which include Major winners Charl Schwartzel of South Africa and American Jason Dufner, defending champion Scott Hend, 2010 Order of Merit winner Noh Seung-yul of Korea, as well as home favourites reigning Order of Merit champion Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Prom Meesawat.
