Wu wins Ballantine’s 21 Year Old after shooting second-round 65 at Ballantine’s Championship

Icheon, Korea; April 27: Chinese star Alex Wu Ashun earned a bottle of Ballantine’s 21 Year Old for shooting the lowest score in round two of the Ballantine’s Championship in Korea.
Wu, 27, shot eight birdies and a bogey in a seven-under-par 65 to vault up the leaderboard to joint 13th place at four-under after enjoying a 10-shot improvement from his opening 75.
Jon Lane, Global Marketing Manager, Ballantine’s, presented Wu with his prize following the conclusion of the second round on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, Tetsuji Hiratsuka of Japan received a bottle of Ballantine's 30 Year Old for recording a hole-in-one at the 13th in round one on Thursday, holing his last shot of the day in near darkness with a four-iron.
All five first-round leaders – Jean-Baptiste Gonnet, Johan Edfors, Kieran Pratt, Kim Gi-whan and Matthew Baldwin – received a bottle of Ballantine’s 21 Year Old after the conclusion of the first round on Friday.
