Yang trails by five while Hend slips in Scotland

July 9: Asian Tour honorary member Y.E. Yang of Korea signed for a one-under-par 71 to tie in 14th position at the Aberdeen Assets Scottish Open on Friday.
Yang, first Asian to win a Major, fired one eagle and three birdies against four bogeys for a three-under-par 141 total to trail leader Alex Noren of Sweden by five shots at the Castle Stuart Golf Links.
Overnight co-leader Scott Hend of Australia signed for a 73 to slip six shots off the pace in tied-19th while Thailand’s Prom Meesawat sits in tied-36th on 144 following a 70.
