Taipei, July 2: Read what leading contenders have to say following the third round of the Yeangder TPC on Saturday

It was nice to finish with a birdie to keep myself in front. I just got to do what I’ve been doing tomorrow. I struggled a little with the driver today but all in all I managed myself well on the golf course. I started to lose my focus a little in the back-nine. It was a difficult afternoon especially with the back-nine being tougher than the front. There were more demanding par-four but I bounced back nicely. I’m going to attack whenever I can tomorrow and play conservatively when the need calls for it. Most important is to keep the bogeys off the card and make birdies. Three shots is a good lead and hopefully I get a few good breaks tomorrow and it keeps carrying on.

I’ve been playing very well the last three weeks and I’m feeling pretty good about my game. The greens here are the hardest part for me here. I just want to play my best. If I’m leading, I will keep maintaining my position. If not, I’ll be aggressive and try to catch-up. I’m not going to feel nervous but I want to go into tomorrow’s round with high hopes that I can actually do it.

I made a few nice putts and hit it close to the pins. I tend to move backwards on a Saturday and so it’s nice to see myself moving forward today for once. It was very warm out there but the greens seem to be rolling okay. I just need to play my own game and see what happens.

Anything can happen tomorrow as this is one of the toughest courses in Taiwan. I’m only a few shots back and if I get a really low score tomorrow, who knows? This could be my week. I believe it’s only a matter of time before I win. I’ve been playing well recently and I’m in good form. I prefer to be chasing the leader as there’s less pressure.
