I’m really at loss for words. The feeling of winning my first Asian Tour title here at the Yeangder TPC is really indescribable. I had a rough day yesterday but today, I really enjoyed myself and I played really well. I was thinking too much about how the rest were playing and that put additional pressure on me. But I managed to play my own game today and it paid off. Play-offs are always going to be a 50-50 affair. I got a good advantage when I managed to put my ball onto the fairway which took a little pressure off me. When I saw Takeyasu’s ball landing in the rough, I was thinking whether I should be aggressive or not. I decided to use a three-wood and managed to sink an easy putt for birdie to win.

Fourth round Six-under-par 66, 12-under-par 276
I gave my best and was unlucky in the play-off. I hit a wayward shot into the rough and that really made things very tough for me. It’s not my week but I know I’m capable of playing good golf and it can only get better from here.

So close yet so far for me again this week. I did what I had to do but unfortunately not good enough to win. At the start of the week, my goal was to finish inside the top-10 and I’m happy I managed to do that. I missed a short birdie putt on 14 which could have made a huge difference today. That affected by concentration. It might not be the right time for me to win yet and I just have to work harder. I’ve to remain more positive and confident about myself. I’m sure I’ll be a winner one day.
Scott Barr (Aus)
Fourth round Two-over-par 74, 11-under-par 277
It was a good week. I started well but didn’t get the breaks I was hoping for. I then started hitting some poor shots which was a shame and my swing got out of sync and I was trying to regain it back for the rest of the day. I needed a birdie on the last to force a play-off but just couldn’t get the ball close enough to the hole. Anyway there’s always a next time. I’m happy with the way I played earlier in the week, which was good.
