Taipei, October 10: The Yeangder Tournament Players Championship has been reduced to 54 holes holes, officials announced on Saturday.
The second round of the US$500,000 Asian Tour event was postponed to Saturday due to inclement weather. The final round will be played on Sunday at the Linkou International Golf and Country Club.
Asian Tour Tournament Director Wanchai Meechai said: “Following the delay of the second round, it has become clear that the completion of 72 holes within the required time frame is not feasible. Therefore the Yeangder TPC will be decided over three rounds.”
The Yeangder TPC is the first tournament in 2015 to be shortened.
Ends.
