Biography

Angelo is one of the most jovial players on Tour. Earned the nickname ‘Human Highlighter’ due to his bright and colour golfing attire.Has been known to play in tournaments without playing a practice round.

Career Highlights

  1. Angelo is a three-time winner on the Asian Tour, with the most precious being the 2008 Philippine Open.Enjoyed career high on the Order of Merit in 2014 when he finished in sixth place, thanks to a runner-up finish at the UBS Hong Kong Open where he lost to Scott Hend in a play-off
  2. Hit a memorable approach shot into the final green to force a play-off
  3. Finished tied eighth at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia
  4. In 2015 and 2016, he has split his time between Asia and Japan, enjoying a tied seventh at the CIMB Niaga Indonesian Masters in 2015 and equal fourth at the Hero Indian Open in 2016
  5. Only one missed cut in nine starts in 2016
  6. Posted six top-10s in 2013 and qualified for his third appearance at the World Cup of Golf in Australia
