Nicknamed “Bank” because he was born the night after his mother took her final examinations for her Masters degree in financial banking. Born in Hawaii and grew up in Thailand. Moved to Florida at the age of 12 to refine his game at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy. Graduated from the University of Florida with a finance degree. Rates Thongchai Jaidee as his role model.

Career Highlights

  1. Arnond came close to winning his second Asian Tour title at the 2017 Resorts World Manila Masters. He settled for a second-place finish after he was defeated by American Micah Shin on the first play-off hole.
  2. He regained his Asian Tour card at the 2017 Qualifying School but missed consecutive cuts in his first six events. His runner-up result in Manila helped him break into top-60 on the Order of Merit and retain his playing rights for the 2018 season.
  3. Arnond enjoyed a great rookie season in 2012, earning his card through Qualifying School and then winning a maiden victory at the King’s Cup where he outplayed Mardan Mamat and Thaworn Wiratchant
  4. Enjoyed four other-top-10s that season
  5. Posted a runner-up finish at the Queen’s Cup and two other top-10s in 2013.Finished second in the 2014 ICTSI Philippine Open
  6. Regained his Tour card in 2017 with a tied 17th finish at Qualifying School.
