Career Highlights

  1. Daisuke came to prominence when he enjoyed a play-off win at the 2009 Asian Tour’s Qualifying School in Thailand
  2. He defeated England’s Ally Mellor in the second play-off hole to earn his playing rights on the Asian Tour
  3. He subsequently ended a four-year title drought by winning the Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open in Japan by four strokes in September
  4. In 2010, he put on a gallant title defence at the Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open before finishing in tied third
  5. In 2011, Daisuke was third at the Queen’s Cup in Thailand, equal fourth at the Asia-Pacific Panasonic Open in Japan and tied sixth in the season-ending Thailand Golf Championship
  6. His best finish in 2012 was tied-21st at the season-ending Iskandar Johor Open
  7. He had previously focused his game on the US PGA Tour where he produced a top-three and four top-10 finishes in 2006 followed by one top-10 in 2007
  8. He also won on the Japan Tour at the 2005 Fuji Sankei Classic.
