When he made his debut in Asia in 2003, Jason said he struggled to cope with the heat. “I lose a lot of weight every time I come over. I feel like I need a big pizza to keep some weight on, but there hasn't exactly been a whole lot of pizzas to eat over in Asia!” said Jason. His father was a fighter pilot with the US Air Force and he also dreamt of becoming a pilot before catching the golf bug. Regularly played with 2007 Masters Tournament champion Zach Johnson during his college days and has maintained a friendship with the Major champion.

  1. Jason is a two-time champion on the Asian Tour with wins in the 2004 Macau Open and 2007 Motorola International Bintan, Indonesia
  2. After playing on the Asian Tour for 13 seasons, Jason failed to retain his card for the 2017 season after an uncharacteristic run of poor results
  3. In 2015, the American enjoyed one top-five courtesy of his finish at the True Thailand Classic
  4. In 2014, he enjoyed his best finish of tied-second at the Asia-Pacific Diamond Cup, which helped him finish a career high 14th on the Order of Merit
